The British Virgin Islands situated in the Caribbean consists of around 40 islands and cays. Many of these places are uninhabited and the only way that you can reach them to explore them is by boat. 1. The Baths - These are to be found at the Southern tip of Virgin Gorda and are one of the islands most popular landmarks. But along with exploring this part of the Virgin Gorda there is also wonderful sandy beaches that are lined with palm trees and makes the ideal place to snorkel and swim. You can spend time wandering through the maze like passages which have been created by the boulders and grottos. To further help you explore these areas the paths have ropes and ladders on them making getting up the steeper rocks a lot easier.
2. Jost Van Dyke - For those who want to enjoy a place where they are able to eat and drink well whilst wandering around in bare feet this is the place to include visiting in your vacation. Here you can even have the chance to try a local drink at "Foxy's" called "The Painkiller". A beverage made using the local rum known as "Pusser's Rum".
The other option you have is to enjoy the beach and relax by the cool Caribbean waters. However, if you get fed up of just enjoying everything that this part of the island has to offer there are plenty of other things to do and see. Spend time hiking along many of its old trails and when you reach the top of a hill watch the whales and dolphins as they play in the sea below.
